Tucker sat up from my lap and looked out the window. I hadn’t even realized we had been driving through a town this whole time I was having an inner turmoil in my head. We pulled up to a gorgeous grey brick manor house comprised of several wings. Tucker was so excited, but I was apprehensive. Was this safe? The Jeep stopped and still-shirtless Dash whisked out the door, throwing my bag over his shoulder and reaching for Tucker who willingly jumped straight into his arms. Is this man our hero or our captor? Dash wouldn’t look me in the eye and he had a pained expression on his face. But he stilled and reached out for my hand – his fingers almost trembling - and he helped me out of the car. The second our fingers touched, the same warmth immediately radiated through our connection. Drawin
