Mine

{Amara’s POV} I woke to the sound of hushed whispers out in the hallway. “No, you need to stay away from her! What were you thinking? You were the one that was so dead set on her leaving, and now you go and claim her?” Zorin’s voice slipped through the closed door. “I don’t know what happened, it was like I was in a haze.. when I came to I had already done it.. and now, I can’t stay away from her, you know that!” Vaius snapped back at him. “I don’t mean forever Vaius!” Zorin shouted, causing me to jump and pull the cover up over my head. He was never like this.. he was always calm and quiet. I heard the door open, and Zorin’s voice poured into the room. “Amara.. I know you’re awake.. are you feeling alright?” “I-I’m fine..” I said, trying to calm myself down. I felt off though, like something was wrong with me, but I wasn’t sure what. Maybe it’s where I’m not whole.. that had to be it. “I just need to find the rest of me.. d-do you have my clothes?” I asked, moving the blanket and standing by the bed. His shirt hung off me, down to my knees, and the top draped off one of my shoulders. I saw his and Vaius’ eyes scanning over me, and falling to my neck. “What are you two staring at?” I asked, turning and walking towards the bathroom. Zorin rushed and blocked my way. “N-Nothing, absolutely nothing! We had our sisters go buy you some clothes last night. They’re drying now, maybe you should lie back down!” “Zorin, I have to pee, and I’d prefer not to pee in the floor, so could you please move?” I asked, looking up to him. “I-I..” he muttered. “Zorin, let her go.” Vaius said, sighing and crossing his arms over his chest. I watched Zorin’s shoulders slouch before he moved out of the way. I walked into the bathroom, did my business then washed my hands. I took a deep breath, and steadied myself before looking into the mirror. I needed to know what they kept staring at. I looked at my neck, seeing the bite marks that Vaius left, but some strange vine like markings swooped around it, in a peculiar looking pattern. It was loops, and swirls all within a circle, and it was white as snow. It looked like a tattoo, and as I reached up to touch it, it glowed white, and suddenly Vaius appeared in the room beside me. His eyes burning into me, as he glared down at my tiny form standing in front of him. “W-What is this?” I whimpered, running my fingers across it again. His body lurched forward as he boxed me in, his strong abdomen against my back. I could feel his hard, massive length against my back as he loomed over me. “F***..” he groaned. “It’s your fault.. your fear was so sweet.. I just had to have a taste..” he snapped, his eyes glowing white like the mark on my neck. “I lost it.. and marked you.” He sighed, his grip on the counter tightening. “I’ve tied my soul to yours..” I turned, looking up at him. “What on earth are you talking about?” I asked. “Little one, you’re not on earth anymore, you’re in our realm, the realm of the hells. You’ve been marked.. and claimed.. there is no way back now, only forward from where we are now. You.. are.. mine..” he growled out, inching closer and closer to me. I pressed the mark on my neck, then shoved him back. “No! I don’t belong to anyone!” I snapped at him. “Go back to your room and leave me alone!” I shouted. What I didn’t expect was for him to listen so willingly, it was like he couldn’t argue back with me. White fire erupted around him, and suddenly he was gone. My body was shaking, he did this.. he took away any choice I had in the matter, and he didn’t even tell me what he’d done until he had to. I shook my head before opening the door, seeing Zorrin there holding some clothes for me in his hands. “I’m sorry.. I’m sorry he did this.. I know you don’t want to be here with us.. we’re monsters.. I’m sure you want to find your other pieces so you can leave.” He whispered, his body shaking softly. “Zorrin.. I..” I began, but he just placed the clothes in my hands, and turned leaving his bedroom all together. I didn’t mean to upset him.. I just was so angry at Vaius. I sighed, closing back the bathroom door and leaning against it, sliding down it. What was I meant to do here? I was still divided, and now I had to worry about Vaius swooping in randomly. I shook my head turning back to the mirror. I quickly pulled off Zorrin’s shirt, and slipped on the underwear and the dress he brought me. It was a deep blue color, with silver embroidery across it. It hung down low in the front and back, causing me to feel a bit over exposed. I pulled down my long black hair, and fluffed it up, making sure it covered my back. “You.. are.. mine..” his words echoed into my head, causing my eyes to snap up to look at myself in the mirror. I wasn’t his.. I knew that, and now he did too. Zorrin however.. my mind began to wander all on its own, I wouldn’t mind to be his.. I felt my face flush, and when I looked over myself my cheeks were red, as were the tips of my ears. “I couldn’t be thinking such things.. they’re demons.. we’re in the hells, and I can’t stay here with any of them.
