I didn't learn about any of that until much later.
I had genuinely believed I would never have anything to do with Declan again for the rest of my life.
To protect me, Cain had personally banned Declan from entering Pathseekers Pack, claiming he didn't want Declan bringing his scandalous behavior into the territory.
Once I left Declan and threw myself into my career, the rotten marriage gradually faded from my mind.
