“BE HONEST. YOU’RE ENJOYING the heck out of this party, aren’t you?” Tiffany asks me while offering me another drink—my third since we got here. “It’s alright,” I reply, bracing my arms on the balcony. Nathan’s parents’ mansion overlooks a gorgeous lake and the view is quite stunning from where we stand. But the tranquility clashes with the thumping of the music from downstairs. Even so, I’m enjoying myself. I’m glad Tiffany dragged me out of the house.
