I blinked my eyes giving my dad the cutest face I’ve got to offer.
‘Guards’
‘Escort this young lady out.’
The guards looked at me apologetically as they pleaded for me to leave.
They couldn’t handle my tantrums like my dad does, but I’m deadly serious. How do I convince him that I’m not just showing attitude.
The guards grabbed me and I yanked them harder than I ever have.
‘Evelyn’
My dad looked coldly at me. I watched in guilt as they whimpered in pain. Dad normally sends for the guards as he knows I’m friendly with them and wouldn’t disobey him as he would punish them.
‘Leave’
He signed with his hands at the guards.
As they left I went nearer to my father and held his hand.
‘Father nobody will know.’
‘You look like her.’
‘Well I’m not her. I just wanna see how The Wolf’s looks like. This is the first time they’re opening their gates.

My dad shouted angrily and stopped.
‘Werewolf’
He finished but more subtle. That’s our secret. I’m the vampire princess who’s also half werewolf. The only people that know this are me, my dad, my new mom and my brother Kris.
‘But I am father. I am and you know I do help a lot because of this.’
My dad sighed.
I love this. I’m getting to him.
‘The Alpha king would spot you out in an instance.’
‘I would mask my vampire’s scent.’
‘Kris will accompany you.’
‘But dad....’
‘No buts. That’s final.’

‘What’s wrong with Laura?’
I barked at the doctor as he was frantically moving around my daughter with many scary appliances.
The last time I was this scared was last year when my daughter attempted suicide.
Since then, I’ve tried to be with her and I can swear she’s gotten better.
She talked, laughed, even made few friends. But I could feel she was down hearted but.... I felt the rage in me. I couldn’t be here again for her and I was running crazy as I paced outside the operating room.
I felt an arm on my shoulder.I turned. I saw my mother.
‘You’re heated up. Don’t worry. She’ll be fine.'
I quickly closed my mind link. This is the reason I normally bar it away. I can still reach my pack members but unlike how we can all feel one’s excess emotions, they can’t feel mine, though sometimes my emotions are so great that it leaks.
I nodded at her.
‘She’ll be fine. She’s got to be fine.’
I breathed in and out.
She and Betty are the only thing that got me moving.
In the next one hour, I saw the operating room door open. I quickly rushed to it.
‘The princess is out of danger.'
I could feel he was withholding something.
‘Spit it out.'
‘The princess didn’t attempt suicide this time, she was .....’
‘Say it’
I said in my alpha’s voice.
‘She was contaminated.’
‘What did you say?’
My voice quivered in shock.
‘It’s the demon touch. It’s spreading. It’s eating her.’
