Roberta POV After Marcus left the dungeon, I felt I had regained some of my strength, but the cloud lingered. Every time he shows up, he brings more threats and pain, and all I can do now is grit my teeth and hold on. A few hours later, the dungeon door opens again and Marcus enters, this time with no food, but a pair of handcuffs in his hand. His expression was still cold and there was a sense of determination in his eyes. "Stand up," he ordered, his voice cold. I struggled to get up, still weak, but I knew I couldn't show any weakness in front of him.
