“What are you guys doing?” Jaxon’s eyes darted from me to Mason.
“What does it look like to you, brother?” Mason heaved a sigh, his eyes not leaving mine.
Seeing how tense the whole place was getting. I felt so hot I could barely think straight. “I think this will be all. I'll see you next week,” was all I could say before dashing out of the room.
“Jade. Wait!” Jaxon called after me. But I wasn't ready to listen to whatever he had to say.
I've got a lot to think about. For a moment, I'm yet to recover from whatever it was that happened back there.
“Take me back to the office,” I commanded the driver, Mr. Don Rosso, who had asked to drive me here.
