After having stepped out of the shower and finished my daily routine, I walk down the staircase to see if anyone else is ready to go.
Atem greets me in the kitchen. Unlike me, he seemed to have just gotten up from bed when he felt hungry enough to exit his room and prepare a simple sandwich.
“You did get the message that we are all going to eat at a restaurant today, didn’t you?”, I ask with a raised eyebrow while sitting on a stool near the counter.
“Yes, but I was hungry. The rest have not even come out of their rooms yet”, he complains after swallowing.
He has a point, I am hungry too, but we agreed to hang out as a team today instead of doing individual activities as usual.
