Engaged (Joey's POV)

1478 Words
“Joey Anastasia Rosaria, will you marry me?” I looked down at Marsden in complete and total shock.  “Mars…wha…where did you get that ring?” I whispered.  “Keene helped me out with it. That’s the secret we’ve been keeping from you. That’s why we’ve been whispering behind your back.” Marsden smiled slightly. “Sorry for lying to you.” “No it’s um…it’s okay, Marsden. I get it now.” “So…what do you say? We talk about this all the time and I’m ready for it. Are you?” Before I could answer, screams rang through the air. “A werewolf!” Everyone started running out of Obsidian, screaming their heads off. Oh no, what was happening with Rune? I started to run towards Obsidian, but Marsden pulled me back.  “Are you crazy, Joey? We should go!” “What about my sisters?” I asked.  “They’re with their boyfriends, Jo, they should be fine. Werewolves are dangerous. I’m not letting you risk your life, let’s go!” We joined the crowd of people running back to Stormine. We were told to go the Feasting Chambers. I immediately spotted Zoey and ran over to her.  “Oh good you’re okay!” Zoey sighed in relief. “Where’s Chloey?” “I haven’t seen her, but I’m she’s alright.” I assured her. I mostly thought that because I didn’t think Rune was capable of hurting her. She had told me that he wasn’t dangerous at all and I definitely believed her. I just hoped no one hurt Rune.  As we waited for Chloey and Rune, Marsden’s question swirled in my mind.  Would I marry him?  Of course I wanted to. I loved him more than myself and to be his wife would be a true honor. But was it too soon? We hadn’t even known each other a year. But what would I even be waiting for? Marsden and I went through more as a couple in less than a year than most people go through in a lifetime.  We both knew how short life was. I didn’t want to spend another second not forwarding my relationship with Marsden. My answer was simple.  I didn’t fully confirm my acceptance until we were back in Marsden’s room.  “So when you said yes, you meant…” “Yes, Marsden! I will marry you!” I kissed him hard. “I want to be your wife so badly.” “I love you, Joey.” Marsden put his hands on my face. “I’m sorry the proposal wasn’t very romantic. I had all this stuff I wanted to say, but it all just kind of flew at my head because I was so f*****g nervous.” “Say it to me now then.” I whispered.  Marsden sat me on the bed and got down on one knee, pulling the ring out again.  “Joey…from the moment I met you I knew you were different from anyone I had ever met. You made me realize that life didn’t have to be so dark and horrifying. You gave me a reason to want a better life. You are the first woman I have ever fallen in love with and I know you’ll be the last. There is no other person on the planet for me. I swear I will make you happy and protect you against everything this life throws at us. Joey…will you marry me?” I smiled and nodded. “Of course I will.” Marsden slipped the ring on my finger before kissing me passionately. I fell back on the bed with him on top of me.  We didn’t speak as our clothes practically melted off.  I was so happy with my ring and our engagement, I wanted to make Marsden feel sensational. I kissed him fiercely as I rolled on top of him. I bit his lip and slowly pulled it, getting a moan out of him.  He positioned my hips so I was right above his erect d**k. Slowly he pushed me down. I whimpered as I felt him fill me completely. Every inch of his perfect c**k was inside of me. I leaned back, bracing my hands on his muscular thighs as I tossed my head back, my moans filling the room. Everytime I slammed down, ecstasy raced through my veins. Marsden’s hand gripped my ass as he groaned loudly.  “Oh god Joey!” I loved hearing my name on his lips. It was enough to make me just melt into him. Marsden’s hand snaked behind my neck and roughly pulled me down to him. His tongue shot in my mouth desperately. His fingers dug into my hips, stopping their movement.  “Hands and knees,” He murmured against my lips. I did as exactly as he commanded. Marsden got behind me, slipping his fingers in my hair and shoving my head down on the bed as he entered me again. My moans were muffled by the pillows as my hands closed around the sheets in bliss.  I felt Marsden’s lips on my back, dragging them on my skin as he powerfully thrusted in and out of me. He pulled my head up. “You’re mine forever, “ He murmured, causing me to shudder. His grunts filled my ears, making my eyes roll back. Being responsible for Marsden’s pleasure was f*****g incredible. I got to do that for the rest of my life.  Marsden pushed me down on the bed completely before flipping me on my back. He buried himself inside of me once again, pressing his forehead against mine.  “I f*****g love you,” He breathed.  “I f*****g love you more,” I panted. Our fingers intertwined. Marsden’s rubbed against my new ring. “This will never leave your hand.” “Never.” My back arched as Marsden started pumping faster. I was squirming and writhing unable to control my body anymore. “Marsden!” I gasped. Marsden shook violently as he spilled into me, his strokes becoming sloppy and uneven until he stopped all together. He stayed on top of me, breathing heavily. “I get to make love to you for all of eternity.” “Lucky you.” -- “You’re what?!” Zoey demanded.  “Marrying Marsden.” I smiled.  “Oh that is crazy!” Chloey laughed. “Congratulations!” She hugged me. “Thanks!” “Are you out of your f*****g mind?!” Zoey practically yelled. “What the f**k Joey?” “What’s wrong?” I asked. “I told you I wanted to marry Marsden.” “You haven’t even known him for a year! You don’t really know him at all!” “We’re in love! I know everything about him!” “Really so what was he hiding from you?” Zoey challenged.  “This ring! This was the big secret, Zoey. He wanted it to be a surprise.” I exclaimed.  “Oh it sure is a surprise. You cannot marry him! This is a trauma response to the werewolf attack last night.” “No it’s not, he asked before the attack.” “Joey, seriously, what is wrong with you?” Zoey breathed.  “Zoey!” Chloey scolded. “Don’t be like this. Joey is happy!” “Chlo, I am so sick of you enabling Joey’s insane behavior! She needs to stop this s**t!” Zoey shook her head. “I don’t approve of this!” “Good thing I don’t need you to,” I whispered. “I don’t need anyone’s approval. I’m going to marry Marsden no matter what anyone says. I can’t believe you can’t even pretend to be happy for me.” “I’m sick of pretending for you Joey. Not one second have I been happy about your relationship with Marsden. He said he would get you killed and instead of running like you should have, it’s like you love him more! You’re acting like an idiot.” “Zoey, you’re out of line!” Chloey snapped. “You’re being horrible!” “I don’t care anymore! I’m trying to save our sister’s life and future instead of letting her throw it away for a dumb boy.” “That dumb boy is my fiance. He loves me more than anyone else in this world does. Especially you!” I accused. “I should have known you wouldn’t be happy for me! You’ve never liked seeing me happy!” “Because everything that makes you happy is either dangerous or f*****g stupid!” Zoey shouted.  “I don’t have to listen to this!” I turned and stomped off.  “Jo, come back!” Chloey called after me, but I didn’t listen.  Zoey wouldn’t ruin one of the happiest days of my life.
