Birthday (Chloey's POV)

I was severely dreading my birthday.
What was the point if I couldn’t be with my sisters? I was a triplet and here I was alone for my birthday. Okay alone is a bit of an over exaggeration. I had Rune, Mom, and Magnus. And of course Raina and Cade were going to be there too.
I was actually shocked that they were still together, to be honest. I really thought their whole relationship centered around getting me and Tate back. I was sure when that was no longer a factor they would break up and go their separate ways.
The opposite seemed to happen.
“I can’t believe my sister is still with that guy,”
“Hey, other than lying, Cade was actually a pretty good boyfriend, you know?”
“Don’t say that!” Rune gasped. “Every time you compliment him, I die a little babe.”
“Oh, you’re so dramatic,” I laughed. “Cade also made me laugh a lot.”
Rune clutched his chest and fell on the bed, pretending to die. “Chloey…I always…loved you…”
He went limp, causing me to giggle furiously. “Are you dead, babe?”
“Mhmm…but a kiss could bring me back to life,” He muttered.
“I see,”
I got on top of him and kissed him softly. He put his hand on the back of my head, kissing me harder. “Tricked ya, Rosaria.”
He kissed me again, rolling on top of me. He pried my legs open, placing his body between them and grinding against me. The familiar sensation of satisfaction spread between my thighs.
“You know, it’s past midnight,” Rune murmured. “That means it’s technically your birthday.”
“True,” I smiled.
“So you should get a present, huh?” His lips moved down my neck to my chest.
He slipped my nightgown over my head and tossed it behind him. I pushed Rune’s shirt off before he removed his pajama pants. Twisting my hand, I dimmed the lights in the room.
We were both naked now, pressed against each other under the covers. Rune kissed me hard before he disappeared under the sheets. I gasped as I felt his tongue swirl against me. My hands went to his hair, gently running my fingers through it as he passionately flicked his tongue back and forth.
When I started writhing too much, his strong hand held my hips down. My back lifted off the bed as my orgasm threatened to come over me. I still wanted to prolong it as much as possible. Rune as always had other plans for me.
He went faster, scratching down my thighs to add to my pleasure, I couldn’t hold off anymore. I cried out as bliss danced through my body. The release left me breathing heavily, but Rune wasn’t done with me just yet.
He moved up, planting kisses on my body as he did. He pushed himself inside me as he reached my lips. I whimpered against his mouth as he pumped slowly. We kissed at the same pace of his strokes. I held his face tightly, moaning into his mouth as I felt him in me completely.
“Chloey…” Rune shuddered. “f**k, you’re so good.”
“Harder,” I whispered.
I think that caught both Rune and me by surprise. I was never one for hard or rough s*x. I like the intimacy and softness. But Rune was so sexy to me and I just wanted to feel everything.
He smiled before grabbing my hands and pinning me down. I shut my eyes with pleasure as he slammed into me harder than he ever had. Oh I liked that.
“Again,” I begged.
Rune grunted as he repeated his thrust. He kept doing it, knowing it’s what I wanted. His groans were in my ear, along with his whimpers and whines. I guess I wasn't the only one who liked it harder.
I wrapped my legs around his torso, pulling him closer to me. His chest was pressed against mine. I could feel his heartbeat in his chest.
“I want to take you from behind,” Rune breathed.
I had never done that, but I was willing to try. “Anything you want,” I whispered.
Rune pulled out and I rolled over. He lifted my hips and gripped them before entering me once more. Something about this position was absolutely ecstasy. Rune was going crazy in a way he never had before. I had never heard some of these noises come from him.
“Chloey…fuck Chloey I’m…close…”
The only thing I didn’t like was that I couldn’t see him finish. I could only hear it. The sudden gasp, followed by his long groan. The definition of sexy. This was something I could get used to. Rune slumped against me, his lips sloppily dragging against my back.
“Did you like that?” He asked.
“Vey much,” I breathed heavily. “We should try new things more often.”
“Whatever you want, birthday girl.”

That s*x had put me in a great mood.
I wasn’t even distraught about not having my sisters there. Of course I still missed them and it was nice to talk to them, but this wasn’t life or death. I could handle today without them.
“They’re here,” Rune informed me as I finished my hair. “And you look beautiful.”
“Thank you,” I smiled.
He wrapped his arms around me from behind me and kissed my cheek. “I want to f**k you in every position right now.”
It sent a shiver through my body. I would love for Rune to take me right now. But we had other things to attend to.
I turned to face him. “You can tonight,”
He kissed me hard. “I can’t wait to hear you scream my name.”
I liked this more dominant Rune. It was very sexy.
We went down stairs and there were Cade and Raina. I hugged them both.
“It’s good to see you guys,” I smiled.
“You too. You look stunning Chloey,” Cade said almost longingly.
Raina smacked his arm. “You do look lovely, Chloey.”
“Thanks, Raina, you too.”
Rune hugged Raina tightly before reluctantly shaking Cade’s hand. I just remembered the last time they were this close to each other, Rune turned into a werewolf and terrorized Obsidian. Hopefully there wouldn’t be a repeat.
“Oh yeah, happy birthday,” Raina stated.”Um, where’s Tate and Zoey?”
“You didn’t tell them?” I asked Rune.
“I knew I forgot something. Tate and Zoey are gone…they have I don’t know a destiny to fulfill or something.”
“So, you’re completely alone Chloey?” Cade asked.
“No, I have Rune.” I said simply.
“Right, you do.”
“Well, lunch is on the table so, we should go wait for Molly and Magnus,” Rune declared.
He put his hand on my lower back as we walked there.
We sat together, waiting for Mom and Magnus to show up. Raina and Cade were whispering to each other. They were clearly arguing.
“No, Raina!” Cade hissed. “It’s not the time.”
“So when is huh?” She asked. “Don’t think I don’t know what this is about!”
“Don’t flip this on me!”
“Is everything okay?” Rune asked.
Cade forced a smile to his face. “It’s perfect.”
“Yes, it is, because we have big news,” Raina announced. “I figure we just tell you guys now. Not to harp on your day Chloey, but I feel this should be out in the open.”
“Um, okay…” I laughed nervously.
“Rune, you can’t get mad,” Raina started. “Cade and I are having a baby.”
“Huh?” Rune asked.
“I’m pregnant.”
