15 They shared a shower the next morning. Laurel had made the suggestion, a little surprised at her own boldness. But it was something she’d always wanted to do, and Jason hadn’t demurred. No, he’d been ready to climb into the large, glass-enclosed space and let the warm water sluice over both of them, washing away the scent of the previous night’s lovemaking…but not the sensation of closeness it had created.
