Her words trailed off there, and the man only shook his head. Jason had a feeling the guy thought they were a couple of rubes, which was fine by him. He really didn’t care what the man’s opinion of them was, as long as he was willing to give up some more valuable information.
“Well, you missed Nathan,” the man said. “He was camping up here until a day or so ago. But he packed up and moved on.”
