It was May and Dom was happy to still be playing hockey. The Renegades easily made it to the third round. They beat Washington in round two in five games. Dom played the first pair of games and Kaden finished the series off. Somehow this switching back and forth was working. He hadn’t been convinced that it would. Dom liked to play every game when he was on a roll, not sit on the bench and watch. Staying calm and letting Coach Walker take the lead was a learning curve for him, but finally it was sinking in.
