Scarlett All the emotions I had been struggling to stifle came to the surface and I screamed my mates name, running to the place where he stood. As he lifted me from the ground into his arms and held me tight against his chest, I finally felt the safety and security I had been praying for. “I’ve got you.” He whispered into my ear. “And I’m never letting you go again.” Words formed in my mind, but I was too busy choking on my own breaths for my throat to allow them to pass.
