Meet Me At Midnight..

Abilene knew she could trust the man in front of her, he was wearing a Black hoodie with a dark mask, had dark black hair, and dark jeans on. He then spoke softly, "We cannot stay here princess, we must leave soon." She didn't understand how she knew him and she didn't know who he was. "Who are you?" I said. He then said, "I'm a friend of your mom's, I been sent to protect you." He was so good looking, she caught herself staring and started to look away because she was blushing. She put her hand into his, then she felt warm. A huge white light appeared where their hands touched. Abilene slowly opened her eyes, when she did the same guy from her dream was there wearing the same outfit. "Welcome back to earth princess." He said. He held his hand out to her, she looked into his eyes and grabbed his hand. "Hello." Said Abilene nervously. His hand was so warm she didn't want to let go but she knew she had to. "We should make our way to the other side," he said. "Wait, I can't leave without him! Midnight! Where are you?" she yelled. The man was less than helpful not helping her search for her best friend in this world. "I'm sure he's okay." He said it strangely. I had enough of this person already, I turned around with pain burning into my heart and on the brink of tears. "He's my best friend! This cat means the world to me! I won't leave until I know he's okay." The tears started and I had to turn away from him, he then just randomly hugged me. I was shocked, but it felt so right. For a minute I froze. He then let go awkwardly, he said "Sorry! I meant I already found your cat! He's already at where we are headed. His name is Midnight, right?" Her eyes were wide opened she was completely surprised. She hugged him suddenly, he was a little off-balance. "Thank you for protecting him. He means everything to me, let us go now," she whispered. She grabbed a few small things and headed out. She felt strange, everything was happening at once she wasn't expecting all this to happen. She had a small backpack and a bag of clothes, he turned around to look at her. His face was coming closer to her face so fast, was he going to kiss her? His lips were so close to hers, she was getting lost in his eyes that she didn't hear the question he had asked her. "Huh?" she said suddenly very red. "Do you want me to carry your bag it looks a bit heavy?" He was now smiling softly. She was in so much trouble, how could she feel like this about anyone else other than midnight. "Uhh, no, that is okay. Thank you, I got it," she said. They walked into a plain-looking cafe, and we came to a dead-end at the end of a long hallway. He did some tapping and suddenly there was a door. The light was very bright when he opened the door. He took hold of her hand and led her into the doorway. She closed her eyes tight, she was scared. She kept thinking how was this real? How was she a princess of anything? He suddenly said, "Open your eyes."
