What on earth did she think she was doing here, didn't his father dispatch them? He thought he'd made it clear in the office that he didn't want them, want her. Christopher got up from the couch he was sitting on and started towards her.

Sera had noticed Chris across the floor of the club, she saw him get up and start coming towards her, he was obviously coming to drive her and the others out, well too bad, she was going to stay and do her job, he could either get with the program or she'd knock him out and drag him home, the latter sounded more interesting. She nodded to Adriel “there he is, stay put, I'll meet him and signal you guys over”, then she kept walking towards Chris. As she got closer to him, she realised someone else was walking towards him from the left and when she turned her attention to the individual she noticed the gun held just at the hip of the individual, the man was going to shoot Christopher and he was not alone.

She increased her pace and almost ran into his Christopher's arms, then she proceeded to twist him around, so she was blocking him from behind, “ keep walking and try to not say anything right now, someone is after you” Christopher was at first surprised by how she'd twisted around him and started leading him in the direction in which she came but when he heard her words he tensed and kept walking. Sera noticed that another guy was walking towards where Adriel and Leoba were waiting but luckily Adriel had noticed him and was moving to block Leoba while ensuring there was no line of sight to Christopher, Leoba had started moving towards Chris and when she reached them, “we need to leave right now, there are about eight assailants in here.”

The guy behind Sera pulled his gun out and shot into the air and immediately Sera pulled Christopher down to the ground while twisting around to throw a bottle she'd picked up from a nearby table at the first guy. Gabriel had spotted the commotion going on and had pulled Adriel and they were also trying to make their way towards Christopher through the panicked crowd. The bottle didn't hit it's mark, the man had already moved and blended into the crowd, Sera turned and shouted “Adriel, get us a way out of here now!!”. “I'm trying” Adriel replied while punching the guy who had been coming towards them and using him to push back the crowd who were trying to get to the door. Leoba had already disappeared, Sera was worried but focused on trying to get Christopher out. When Adriel got to the door, he kicked the guy he'd been punching out of the way and was going to reach for the door handle, then realised the door was already open. Leoba was standing on the opposite end looking at him “ Let's get going”, she said while running in the direction of the car. Adriel only turned around to check on Sera and saw she had almost reached them, then ran out towards the car too. Sera and Christopher exited the club and she directed him towards the car that was already on it's way to them, Leoba was driving with Adriel in the passenger seat, he opened the door for Sera and Christopher to get in. They got in and the car started speeding off, then Sera saw another car chasing theirs, “ i think someone is chasing us”, Christopher turned back too, “it's Gabriel and Uriel, he's probably thinking I've been kidnapped”, “if we get somewhere far away and safe, stop so we can talk to them then we can all figure out where to go” Sera said. “No need, just drive down to The Palms hotel at the Boulevard” Christopher said. Leoba nodded and started driving in that direction.

When they got to the hotel, Leoba parked the car and they waited for Gabriel to the same, then they all got down and faced each other. Gabriel moved towards Christopher and hugged him then turned to face all three of them “thank you for getting my friend out of there”. Sera replied “ we wouldn't have had to do so if you all didn't decide your lives were for sale and go to a crowded club knowing fully well that your lives were in danger” “Well, I'm sorry.” Gabriel replied then nudged Uriel who'd been standing beside him and acting like he didn't understand what was going on, “apologise as well, they just helped save your friend”. “They wouldn't have had to save anyone if they hadn't tried to involve themselves in an issue that doesn't concern them, didn't i tell you i didn't need help at my house, why did you still follow me?” Christopher said while glaring at Sera angrily. “Let's sort all this out later and get rooms first, as she said earlier, it's not safe for us to be out here like this, especially when you consider what happened earlier” Gabriel said, then he ushered everyone into the lobby of the hotel.
