“There’s something else I need to tell you,” Margot said in the silence of my room after we’d finally settled into bed.
“There’s more?” I asked, chuckling to play off how tired and ready for sleep I was. I was happy with having her next to me. I didn’t really needmore from her after the night we’d had. Having her at my side, in my arms, was enough.
“Yeah, and it’s a pretty big deal,” she added.
