Chapter 20 - Rhett “Oh, hey,” Margot said when she answered her door to find me standing in the hallway in front of her room at the safehouse. She sounded like I had interrupted something. “Hey, yourself. Is everything all right?” I asked. “Yeah, I’m fine.” She stepped aside to let me in and checked the hallway before closing the door. I knew that look, but I didn’t want to say anything about it right away. “I got us some Chinese,” I told her, dragging the bag of food to the kitchen counter. “Chinese is good.” I heard the locks slide to on the door, and then I heard the chain slide into place.
