Chapter 29 Quinn warily stepped into the dark alley. Jimmy was by her side, holding a flashlight he’d retrieved from the car’s glove compartment. The alley was only slightly wider than a mid-sized car, but any motorist would have been stopped by the large metal garbage containers that stood against the grey plastered walls of the building to their right. By the smell coming from them, there was some kind of food establishment inside the building, which couldn’t have been very classy or hygienic in that part of Harlem.
