Chapter 19
It was the day before the feast and Quinn and Jimmy were going over her background story as Imogen Fairfield while having breakfast on the patio of their guesthouse. Dayton had left half an hour earlier to scout the hacienda. They had traded in the old truck for something more reliable and less conspicuous. Of course, the old rusted truck hadn’t sold for nearly enough to purchase the jet black 1920s model A Ford Dayton had just left in. They had made Dayton pay for the surcharge, arguing that this was now a government mission and the agent in charge was required to cover such things from the agency’s expense allowance.
Dayton hadn’t argued too much about the expenses and had even offered to cover their guesthouse bill entirely, provided they choose one of the cheaper ones outs
