Chapter -2 After the intervention of the lady finally, the bickering between the tiger and the fox came to an end. "Now that everything seems fine, I will take my leave". Elder Suraci said as she held her wooden cane and turned around to leave. When the lady saw the elder turning around to leave, she looked at her husband, "Why don't you walk her out". The man nodded and followed the elder. They have not even reached the mouth of the cave when the heard the boy in the lady's arm, crying his lungs out. "Nariha what happened?" The man rushed to his wife's side. "I don't know. All of a sudden he began to wiggle in my arms and started crying" Nariha said as tears emerged in her eyes. The boy's body was slowly getting darker with shades of red. Before they could even think of a reason as to why their son was crying, they could hear commotion broke outside. The man and the elder walked out to see what was happening. Outside the sky was covered in darkness. All of a sudden dark red clouds began to appear in the sky out of nowhere.  Inside the cries of the boy grew even louder. "Agrud, what is happening outside? Our son is getting more and more agitated here". Nariha called out for her husband from inside. "I don't know, but it does not look good" Agrud replied cluelessly. Nariha, with some difficulty, climbed out of her bed. With her son in her arms, she walked out of the cave. "Why did you come outside? You should not be moving right now, you are weak" Agrud said as he supported her. "I am fine" Nariha who was worried about her son did not pay much heed to his husband. She was more concerned about the phenomenon in front of her than her health itself. Not only them, but other clan members have also come out of their caves. They were all looking towards the sky, this unusual phenomenon, aroused fear in many of them. A single thought resounded in the minds of most them, ' Is it them? ', ' Have they come, to s*******r us all?', ' Is it the end? '. When Agrud was busy looking towards the sky, an elderly man walked up to him. Seeing the man approaching him, Agrud greeted him respectfully, "Greetings, Clan Leader". "There is no need for formalities right now. What do you think of this situation?" The elderly man waved his hands and asked. "To be honest, I have no idea about what it is. This is the first time I have seen something like this" Agrud replied as clueless as everyone else. Getting a response he was expecting, the clan leader asked, "Do you think this is a good omen or a bad one?" "Right after the clouds began to gather a sense of gloominess began to rose inside my heart. I feel that even if this is not a bad sign it is not a good thing either". Agrud told the clan leader. "Agrud---" Nariha called out for her husband. Agrud ignored her and kept on discussing with the clan leader. "Agrud---" Nariha called out once again, but Agrud ignored her yet again. "Agrud, listen to what I am telling you" Nariha yelled at her husband. "Nariha this is not the time. If you feel unwell elder will help you---" Agrud turned around to make his wife understand that this is not the right time to discuss anything unimportant, but when his gaze fell on his son, he could not finish his words. Their son has stopped crying and was looking towards the sky intently with a slight smile. Then he suddenly stretched his tiny palms towards the sky. As soon as he did that, the clouds began to turn b****y red, thunderous sounds reverberated all around, whirlpool emerged among the clouds and the surroundings grew darker, it was hard to even see past a few meters. With the increasing darkness, the fear among the other members of the clan rose. Children began to cry, while their parents tried their best to coax them, but even they were unsure as to what the future held for them. While the others were busy contemplating the situation and their future. Agrud, Nariha, the clan leader and the elder Suraci were looking towards the small boy without blinking their eyes, once. And the boy did not disappoint them, under their gazes as soon as he closed his palms to make a fist, the clouds begin to vanish slowly. Darkness began to fade, and soon everything was back to normal as if nothing happened in the first place. The four of them looked at the sky contemplating as to what happened just now. After a while when they turned towards the boy they found that the man of the hour was now sound asleep after creating such a big commotion. * * * Somewhere else in an unknown land,  All that can be seen as far as one can see through his eyes is ice. All around the area are glaciers, with no habitat at all.  Following a path in the mountains, one could see some people dressed in white walking through the glacier. The people dressed in white followed a trail to arrive in front of a cave in the depths of the glaciers. Outside the cave, four people dressed the same way as the one who just arrived were standing on either side of the mouth of the cave.  "You all can go now and rest. We will stand guard here". One of the men who just arrived said to the four of them. "We appreciate you coming earlier. If you would have come a couple of hours later, we would have dropped dead due to cold here". Inside the cave, a man draped in a white cloth with most of his upper body stark n***d was meditating while sitting on a big block of ice. He had the same pale blue skin as the earlier people, but he resembled the normal humans a lot more than they did. All of a sudden he opened his eyes, he looked outside the cave, but it looked like, he was looking at something very far away. "So you have finally born. Now it's up to you to lead my people, out of that hell". Outside the cave, Suddenly, the earth shook, and the glaciers collapsed. Those who were standing guard outside grabbed their weapons and pointed towards the cave. Their body was shaking, and no one could tell if it was because of the cold or because of the fear of the man inside. When they were shaking in fear, a calm voice came from inside the cave, "There is no need for you all to get agitated. I just woke from my meditation suddenly, because of which the commotion erupted. I will be careful from the next time". Those who were standing outside heard it and looked towards each other. Though they were afraid of the man inside, he was known to keep his words even if he was threatened with death. They relaxed and put their weapons down and again stood outside the cave, like usual. * * *  Here on the side of the boy, Now the four of them were inside the cave looking at the boy in the cradle sound asleep, while the tiger and the fox stood on the sides. Agrud opened his mouth, breaking the silence in the room, " I don't think any of you had the slightest idea as to what happened". All of them shook their head. "Then what are we suppose to do?" Agrud asked. "For now, I think we should keep it among ourselves. There is no need to let anyone else know about this matter" The clan leader suggested. All of them nodded. After that, the clan leader and the elder left the cave. Nariha, who saw her husband looking seriously towards their son asked, "What are you thinking about?" "I just thought of a name for our son," Agrud told her. "What is it tell me" Nariha looked at her husband excitedly. "Since he engulfed all the darkness within himself, I think the name Erebus suits him," Agrud told her. "Erebus" Nariha repeated the name and then with a smile nodded towards her husband. * * *
