Logan's parents arrived in town that afternoon, their imposing presence a happy surprise for Sophia but the opposite for Logan. His mother, regal and Charming, always had a way of filling the room with her warmth, drawing everyone in effortlessly. His father, on the other hand, carried quiet authority; his moves were calculated, and his words deliberate.
They planned on spending some nights with Logan before moving up to visit their old friends in Canada, they plan on returning before Logan's wedding.
The maids buzzed around the house with activities, and Paula caught up with Emily, Logan's mother. The two were so happy to see each other again and had a lot to catch up on.
Sophia was also present, adding her contributions every here and there.
