“Hello Nacho, I missed your call. Are there any updates about Xing?” Logan asked, his voice low and steady, though his mind thrummed with a hundred thoughts crashing through it. He was at the poolside at the back of his mansion, the cool breeze from the pool brushing against his skin. The sun reflected off the water, creating some patterns on his face, but the beauty and aesthetics of the scene did little to calm him. Logan had left the room unannounced when he saw Nacho's call. He didn't want to pick up the call while Sophia was there. “I am about to leave the airport with Xing,” Nacho replied from the other end of the line, his voice flat and professional as ever. Logan could practically make a mental image of him at the very moment, calm and composed, with a no-nonsense stoic face. “
