Sophia rolled in her sleep as the morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a soft golden hue over the room. Her body still ached from the passionate encounter with Logan the night before; the dull soreness and stickiness between her legs made her wince slightly. She could still vividly recall how Logan had pushed her to the edge and beyond, every sensation etched into her memory. As she stretched, her brows furrowed in confusion. The bed beneath her felt different than the one she was used to. It was larger and firmer, and the scent in the air was distinctly masculine, not the familiar lavender she usually woke up to. The air felt cooler too, like the sheets had retained the night’s chill. But there was also a warmth, an undeniable, comforting warmth pressed against her back.
