For the next two days, things seem to be going well.
Romain and I see each other all the time, whenever we can. It's risky. We can't be seen together under any circumstance, otherwise, people will be suspicious of us and that can't happen.
Not a chance.
Meanwhile, we're formulating a proper plan to get out of here. Our savings aren't much; that's the brutal truth. We wouldn't be able to make it too far without getting a job or finding money elsewhere. Romain has all these plans about finding work a few towns over, once we're far away from here. There are territories to the west that aren't that centered around packs. Many people live freely as rogues, and there's no criticism around it at all.
That's how we hope to live. Because after this, we'll be rogues. I won't belong
