We searched for him the whole night tirelessly, taking through the woods and trying to pick up his scent. He must have had a car nearby; it's the only viable explanation as to how he disappeared so quickly, injured and with men behind him.
As for me, I couldn't sit with my thumb in my ass, waiting for him to be found. I had to try my luck with the address he gave me. Every minute I spend away from her crushes my spirit. I can't put a stop to the horrible scenes playing over and over again in my mind.
