Day 4 – Jade The horror of it came quickly after the initial shock that he had actually sunk his teeth into my neck, like some damn vampire. A vampire I could maybe handle, they were once human after all. Even if they were the things of myth. But one glance at Bristol told me how very unhuman he was. “What is wrong with your face?” I scrambled up the bed away from him as he stood there, a dumbfounded look in his face. Bristol was not human. I didn’t know what he was but it wasn’t human. He towered over me, a giant well over seven foot tall, and that wasn’t even the worst part. Not by a long shot. His usually golden tanned skin was still there but there was now a smattering of bronze and gold scales, that hit the light. Almost blinding me. He was almost half covered in metallic scale
