Lost in his eyes

1452 Words

Lyn's POV When Benita left my room without divulging any information about Nurse Ella's relationship with Abel, I felt frustrated and let down. As my best friend, I expected her to be more understanding and supportive, especially given my memory loss. Instead, she seemed evasive and insisted that I confront Abel directly, which only added to my annoyance. I had already asked him about Ella, but he seemed hesitant and unsure as if he was hiding something. The more I thought about it, the more I wondered why Benita had referred to Ella as "Angel". It was the same term Abel used to affectionately address me, and I recalled how he had also called Ella his "baby girl" during his heartfelt confession the night before. The coincidence was unsettling, and my mind raced with suspicions and doubts.
