As I watched, he casually closed the bathroom door behind him, not bothering to lock it from the inside. I suppose he didn't feel the need to, given my limited mobility due to my bad legs. But that thought only led to a more unsettling realization - he had another girl by the name, of Ella, around this vicinity. Was it because I was temporarily unable to walk that he felt it was justified for him to pursue someone else? Or was it because he was the heir to Christopher's empire, and he thought he could juggle multiple relationships with impunity?
