Chapter 7Some hours after that nice dinner on the Harriet, and a little alone time in Razz’s cabin, Javi got a message to report back to the general about his inspection tour. He found her with Binach and hesitated at the open door to her office. She waved him to come in and wait.
“The final shuttle has docked, General,” Binach reported. “The passengers are disembarking. All our crew are off the surface and back aboard ship. Every Ixellan who wants to come is aboard.”
“What’s the final percentage?”
“Ninety-two percent of the population. There were a small number of hospital patients who were too unstable to be moved, and other people who didn’t want to come. Mostly those who live in the city.”
