Chapter 19After two days filled with briefings, the fleet prepared to leave Rincha. Arien let Queza lead those briefings, since she had brought along the element that had disrupted the plans, and had been glad to see that Queza’s romanticism didn’t delude her into thinking the Ixellans would be a decisive new force in the campaign plans. She acknowledged they were green troops, fresh from training, no actual combat experience and planned to use them only as a reserve force. So the allies who’d been highly dubious about the Legion were reassured.
Arien’s entourage arrived at the hangar bay as departure time neared, where they found Queza standing with Lord Finn beside the entrance. Both of them bowed as Arien approached.
