We entered the forest, the floor a sea of moss and ferns in every shade of green imaginable, I had gone out with bare feet, and the ground was soft and spongy beneath me. Its not like Caleb had thought to leave me any shoes, probably in an effort to prevent me from going anywhere but he obviously wasn’t aware of how stubborn I could be. I could hear the birds twittering and chirping in the canopy above me, going about their business and calling to each other in their melodic manner. It made me smile, it was hard to remain angry when you were surrounded by so much beauty. Bradley padded alongside me in his wolf form, casting disparaging looks in my direction.
