My eyes widened in shock, heart beating rapidly in my chest, I pressed myself back against the sofa trying to create some distance from the predator sat before me. The wolf just sat back on its haunches bright grey stormy eyes watching me closely. I closed my eyes, shaking my head from side to side rapidly expecting the wolf to have disappeared by the time my eyes reopened. He didn’t disappear though, he remained in the same position, the sun light streaming in from the windows behind him shining through the very tips of his fur, making it seem as though he had a bright white glowing aura surrounding him.
