“You’re going to have to take her to the hospital.” The Doctor continued, clearing up her equipment as she spoke. “I don’t have the equipment here to look properly, but it would be worth having them both checked over after everything that’s happened.”
I just sat there with my jaw hanging open in shock, unable to process the words she was saying. I was having a baby. A little person was currently growing inside of me. I was going to be a mother. I always knew there was a chance this would happen, I mean we had literally used no protection, and we had had a lot of s*x. I think I’d just shoved the thought of it being a possibility into a corner of my mind, so I wouldn’t have to deal with it.
“You’ve made a mistake.” I told them both, shaking my head. “I can’t be pregnant.”
