“When did he go missing?” I asked, the panic making my voice come out shrill and squeaky.
“How did she know?” I ‘heard’ Sam ask Caleb through the mind link, and Caleb just shrugged watching me closely.
“I can hear you.” I said, testing the mind link to see if it worked the other way around. Sam looked startled, jumping slightly before facing me directly. Whereas Caleb’s face broke out into a wide grin, those adorable dimples appearing on his cheeks. Gosh, I hoped my babies inherited those dimples.
