"Thank you, sir," I said closing his office door and standing out in the hallway. Lena my work colleague was already jumping from her desk chair and running over to me.
"we're going to be partners girl I can't wait to move to France" she jumps up and down excitedly whereas I'm just standing completely shocked at what just happened.
Lena and I were moving to France to start a firm there. Plus, I just got a promotion so that's good news too. When I was signing the papers, I quickly spotted the other signature which I doubt my boss was trying to hide from me.
