It's already midnight, and this day was an absolute blast. Everyone has gone home to their respective houses, except for me.
Showering with a gunshot wound on my shoulder was a real pain. It took me nearly an hour just to clean myself up, and Emily probably fell asleep waiting for me.
Screw this. I still want to cuddle with her, you know?
I inwardly groan as I see her peacefully lying in bed, her eyes closed and her body adorably curled up, hugging the pillow tightly. I know she'sexhausted from our flight this morning and has been buzzing with energy since we got home. She really needs her sleep, and I don't want to wake her up, even though I really want to.
