My heart was racing terribly fast as I walked into the field. The guards were training and absentmindedly, I joined them.
I couldn’t stop thinking about Alpha Alvaro. I had a lot to say to Xena but now was neither the time or place. I was offended by how she went on spilling my private life to his wolf but I was sure she’d taunt me now.
“Xi—“ She was about to say something when I silenced her. I was in no mood to listen to her talk about becoming a thing with Alpha Alvaro.
“Ximena, are you alright?” Mark asked and I nodded. “Everything is great.” I gritted and he didn’t look convinced.
“You look kinda worried, is anything the problem? Is Alpha Alvaro giving you any problem?” He asked and my brows furrowed.
