Shock was an understatement for how I felt, I was speechless.
“I’ll go after her.” A guard muttered and I raised my hand. “No, let her be.” I replied and Dhruv came to me while Juan was in shock as he stared at me with confusion.
“Daddy, what’s going on? Do you know Ena?” He asked naively and I sighed heavily, I tried to still my racing heart, the way it pounded only made the pain I felt more excruciating.
“It’s complicated. Dhruv, take Juan away. Daddy needs to settle some things, okay. Don’t worry about what just happened.” He looked like he wanted to protest but as a good boy, he nodded and walked away with Dhruv.
“Alpha Alvaro, I’m very sorry for what just transpired. I’m Mark and I will make sure she apologizes for what she just did.” He pleaded and I nodded.
“Just go.”
