“My life hasn’t always been like this…” Anastasia spoke up after the longest of silence. “But ever since my aunt died… uncle hasn’t been the same…” She explained. “He started acting aggressive towards me, and I didn’t know what to do…”
“Do your parents know about this?” Mason asked as he put a hand on the woman’s shoulder, trying to calm her down a bit.
“I couldn’t tell my parents… they’re very busy with work and if I were to interrupt them for something like this… they’d get mad at me…” Anastasia’s voice wasn’t completely steady, it was clear her issues ran deeper than just her uncle. She had no one to turn to, not even her family or friends to speak about such an issue with.
