The following day, the mother went to speak with the man in the wheelchair. “I’m sorry for accusing you yesterday Mr. Bariik…” She apologized as she hung her head low in front of the other person.
“It’s nothing, I can understand your concern for your child.” Ashton said as he smiled warmly at the woman. It was obvious he didn’t hold any harsh feelings towards her, despite yesterday’s events.
“I hope you can forgive me… and please don’t fire Ethan…” The mother continued as if she hadn’t heard the man’s previous statement.
