“How are you?” Mason went to the girl and asked her. Edward followed after him.
“I’m good, it was a bit scary but…” Anastasia looked up at the man. “Thank you for being there for me.” She then turned to look at Edward as well. “Thank you.” She repeated once more.
“It’s good to hear you’re alright…” Mason said, in all honestly any other girl would have probably been left traumatized by something like that happening to her. But the girl seemed to be rather calm in that situation instead. “Listen… if you’d like to you can stay over at my place today.”
“I’d prefer it over the police station or a hotel…” Anastasia remarked. “And I’d like to get to know you better as well...” She continued in a gentle voice.
