I knew there had to be one. They had rejected me already the first time, so what were the odds that they suddenly agreed out of the blue.
A part of me knew that this was most likely some kind of trap and the best thing to do for myself was take back the offer but when I remembered Darren's words over the phone earlier, I just knew I couldn't afford the embarrassment that was going to come with Darren's win.
