VALEN Perhaps the weather was well aware of the turbulence in my soul this afternoon. I stood by the window thrown wide open, with a half empty glass of water sitting on its sill. Absent-mindedly, I traced the rim of the glass with my forefinger as I continued to take in the view in front of me. I had been in such a troubled state that I buried myself in work the whole week. Because of that, I had covered all my meetings and closed all the impending deals for the week. So I had no work today. More often than not, it would have been a good thing.
