"So basically, you need me at the office today?" I asked, tired of listening to Calum's long rant. At first, I'd been wondering what he was driving at, listing out his schedule for the day. But as soon as he mentioned a meeting, I knew exactly what his point was. He wanted me to chair the meeting.
"Well…yes, I guess," he replied sheepishly.
I held back a scoff. "I mean, I knew you couldn't live without me, but I didn't think it was this bad," I teased.
"Hold your horses, big man. It's just one day," he chuckled. "Besides, it's nothing I can't handle on my own. I just need a little extra hand here and there."
