She had started to gobble up Varun again. Inviting him with fresh parotta and chicken soup, a delicacy for especially the vegetarian part of our district, he got hooked up in food that I felt lonely. Having had my share, I slowly moved to the corner and watched. The drunken relatives were babbling so and so, with passing time. Kids started to smash cakes and other creams on faces and arms, while I tried to stay away from all his commotion by sticking to some corner, which was clean.
