JASMINE’S POV
I wonder why my grandparents want to see me as soon as I arrived from my trip. Although Cameron wasn’t invited, my instinct tells me that I should bring my partner along. I have a feeling that my stepmother said the old man about my situation regarding my birth mother.
“Are you nervous?” Cameron asked as she drives along the path to my grandparents' villa.
“I am. What if they asked me to leave you? I don’t think I am ready to leave the wealth and money I’ve been receiving every month.” I tried to make the situation less difficult by making jokes. Cameron chuckled.
“I don’t think I’m ready to leave my shopaholic wife as well. If that subject ever arises, I will shut that old man up.” I feel assured that Cameron shares the same feeling as me. But-
