Considering how powerful Mrs. Morgan was, I refused to believe she was dead. She couldn't die just like that. Besides, this wasn't the first time she would be engaging in a brawl with Mr. Cannon so why would she die this time? She must have blacked out. As for the blood pooling around her head, it must have been caused by a little injury to her head. I hadn't seen the injury yet but I believed that must be the case.
I just needed to find it to prove my thoughts right. I gently grabbed Mrs. Morgan's head as soon as I got close, not minding the blood and raised it, looking closely at it.
"Ah!" A scream tore out of my throat and I didn't know when I dropped the head back to the floor with a loud thud, staggering backwards. My eyes were wide like saucers and my whole body was shaking.
