14 14THE FORESTS OF THE THREE STEPS Test not our patience, do not like the camel from our tent evict Push us not to the brink, for from there we cannot any further run Forbear it, we can, only unto that far, and then will bravely act- And beware the wrath of the lambs when into dragons they turn! The kingdom of animals now is a huge un-fragmented piece of land, large enough and varied to allow animals to live in zones they prefer, though for them the boundaries are imaginary. We animals are not shackled by the need to have a roof over our head. We wander as we like, dictated only by our immediate needs and instincts.
