FLINDER 'Wake up! WAKE UP!' screamed Clarity in Flinders ear. 'No, I want to sleep.' said Flinder, still with her eyes closed. 'I don't think you want to make Angel Betty mad again by being late. You only have ten minutes left before training Flin.' Now her eyes were wide open. 'Why didn't you wake me earlier?' Flinder asked her roommate, throwing her covers and her pillow in anger to Clarity, but failed to hit her. Clarity raised her hands in self-defense. 'I tried like three times already.' It was her own fault. Flinder has been studying a lot lately. She wants to be an amazing Angel one day. She came 5 months ago to the Angel academy. She died at the age of seventeen. There were only two months left before her eighteenth birthday and she will get here Angel wings. And two months after, she will be done with school and she will become a full time Angel. Flinder used to help people all the time. So when she got the choice; helping people or go to Heaven, she chose the Angel academy. Tree months later she is one of the best students. She had to learn how to make some difficult desissions. Angels were like whispers, telling them what to do in the name of good. So far, she had only easy cases. She wants to be ready for the big cases and she studies hard to pass her exams. Flinder and Clarity hurry downstairs just in time. They were just starting with the training. 'Running late again?' asked Angel Betty, teacher of the fight training. She is strict, but a great teacher. Flinder learned a lot. Now she is one of the best. 'I am so sorry Angel Betty. I have been trying to wake up Flinder for almost fifteen minutes.' Clarity explained to her. Her puppy eyes worked almost every time in bad situations. Angel Betty couldn't resist them. 'Alright then. Find you sparring partners girls. Hurry.' Angel Betty let them go. Flinder runs to her sparring partner Brad, a long boy with no meat on his bones. She won every time from him. 'Sorry.' she said. He knew she was always late, he was used to it by now and only smiled back. They started with one-by-one training. Boxing and defensing. Punch, punch, kick, dive. Flinder always found it much easier to fight when she said out loud to herself what she was doing, but Angel Betty always said in annoyance, she has to be quiet. Now she said it only in her own thoughts. Kick, block, jump. Brad tried to kick her legs underneath her, but at the last second, she jumped and he fell on the ground, making Flinder laugh out loud. 'No laughing!' Angel Betty screamed at her. 'Twenty push-ups.' All the other trainees looked at Flinder. Her head was already red from sparring, but now turning red like a tomato by embarrassment. She laid down to the ground and did her twenty push-ups. When Flinder was standing on her two feet again, Angel Betty came to her and said: 'Don't try that again or there will be no new cases for you for two weeks.' Flinder found herself wallowing in guilt the rest of the day. She wants to be good, no she wants to be the best Angel ever. So far, she is always late and now she was laughing at her sparring partner for no good reason. Hopefully she will get a new case file this afternoon, so she can show Angel Betty and all the other Angel teachers she will be a great Angel when she turns eightteen. An Angel who will convince all humans to do good instead of evil.
